Big Mac tries to fly...

Whenever you see Two Dicks name on the Hare list, you know it's going to be a tough test. Even so, a good crowd of masochists boarded the bus in front of the Caravelle for the 94 minute protracted passage to the run site. Runners were dropped first with a visitor baptising new shoes before they all departed, led by running hare Doggy Style....that's a worry in itself, considering we're always telling new runners not to follow him ! The bus then ferried the walkers down the ever-narrowing road before they too set off led by Two Dicks.

Now I'm a pretty tall bloke with long legs, but it was a damn fast power walk for me, so pity the poor Viets who tried to keep up with the Two Dicks' cracking pace. The trail was excellent. Mostly through shady wooded areas on paths which had been muddied by the recent rain, across some new plantations and a couple of steep hills were all part of the picture. We circumcised (Sorry that was a cutting remark) circled a dam containing hundreds of ducks - the walkers anti-clockwise and the runners clockwise. Here a handful of runners opted to join the walkers.

Another 3 kilometres and the walkers got to the bus about 10 minutes ahead of the runners - "lost" according to Two Dicks, who set off looking for them just as they emerged from the bush. Rumbling thunder forecast looming rain so the circle got underway smartly...added to that it was already close to 5.30. Psycho Dick stood in as acting GM and called the hares to account. Ria gave a run-down for the walkers awarding a ludicrous +5 while Appendadicktome praised the efforts and gave the run -2. RA Jack Off called the visitors and virgins to front the circle - 8 in all, followed by returnees Tight Arse, Crack Smuggler, Sexercise, BallCock and Robert.
Charges followed for all Poms it being Princess Anne's 60th Birthday , then all Americans (2) charged over VJ day. JackOff then found himself iced for delaying departure of the bus by 3 minutes. He couldn't be iced alone so a shaved head look-alike, Deaf Tea Pot also iced. Normally the punishment time is 5 minutes for every 1 minute's delay, but the pair got off lightly as darkness fell and more charges were pending.

Unfortunately, the Hash lawyer quota (0) was over-subscribed by 2 so Michel and Ria were iced for non-stop conversation on the bus. A succession of lawyer jokes followed to prolong the cooling process. By this time it was well and truly dark and Doggy Style and Vy were charged with sleeping together (on the bus journey).

Big rain drops started to fall and calls of "Go Pee Pee Now!" were followed by a rush for the bus. It was a fairly subdued return to Sai Gon with most feeling the effects of a long, hard run and walk.
