Another swamp adventure at the Sugar Factory for the Halloween run. Almost more Hares than Hounds; Split Head, Super Slag, Steel Ball, Liz.
First Leg 5.7Km, second leg 3.5Km; on a cool day, so no big drama. Highlights of the run was the amount of mud encountered and Deaf Tea Pot managing to completely destroy a log bridge over a pretty deep and very muddy gully !

DTP went arse over tit into the goo. The Hounds feared the worst but DTP rose like a Phoenix from the swamp having lost the Horn for a while in the mud and shit. The Horn sounded fantastic after that (tasted pretty good too) !

The Hounds made a lacklustre attempt to name Liz and after she spent a rather chilly 20 minutes on the ice block they finally gave up and postponed it until next week. What a dreary dim-witted bunch of Hounds we had on that day.
