Our annual JUNGLE RUN !!!!!

Not a bad day at all. Superbly set run by The Tickler and Cockfight with Cum In Hard in spiritual, if not bodily, attendance………She spun some pitiful yarn about getting dragged off her motorbike by the local Ali Baba appreciation society but Cockfight looked remarkably guilty !Ya gotta slap em a bit to keep em in line !

Super Slag did a fine job of leading the meanderers through the forest. She managed to exude complete confidence all the way, despite the fact that she didn’t know were the hell she was half the time. Thank god for those red ribbons !

No particular run highlights other than the visiting ‘General’ damaging forest property with his head, by attempting to nut a rather thorny Rattan tree and Deaf Teapot trying to twist his foot off. He’s writing this from his hospital bed.

Smaller than expected turn out of around 40 made the singing a bit of a challenge at the circle (SH3 has some of the worst Hash singing on the planet – lessons needed !) but Trouser Snake ‘done is best’.

Tonto was unnaturally quiet, which was a pity. And after 45 minutes or so of reasonable wit and chaos it was back on the bus for THE BIG PARTY.

TBP was at Riverside Edgewaters and was hosted entirety free by its benevolent proprietor (Tonto), or at least that’s what False Alarm ( Hash Cash ) thought……….. He didn’t bring the cash to pay for it !! Must of missed those 8572 emails on that very subject during the preceding week !

Nonetheless a good time was had by all, with disappointingly little reckless or riotous behaviour from the Hounds. Me thinks middle aged sobriety and a lack of youthful exuberance has dampened the Hounds spirit in recent times. We need some young blood perhaps, but alas most of the those stay at home and watch TV……….
