A rather long 8,000km sprint through the villages and trails just north of Hwy 51. Even Paddle File and Madame Pee Pee were huffing and puffing together at the end of this one.

Quite a good turn out including a good crowd of newcomers. Must be the new year, or maybe people are starting to find there's nothing better to do.

Highlight was "the bridge of death" half way though the second leg, which everyone appears to have survived as no deaths were reported.

We circled up at the temple site on the steps. So worn out by the duration of this epic adventure we were glad for the premium grade seating offered at this fine site, which makes Rome's Colleseum look plain and boring. The main charge of note - what is it with all the dogs these days?
