The "The Beer's Here, Stuff the 2nd Leg" Run
Location: somewhere in district 9.
The Run: supposedly two legs, long and short. However, upon arrival at the water stop the runners were somewhat surprised to see everything set up for the Hash Circle. After a brief discussion that went along the lines of "The beer is here. The food is here. We are here. Do we really want to leave and run to a place where there's no beer and no food?". Two Dicks made a unilateral decision to stay put and remarkably enough nobody complained.
Highlights: More overflow from the Chiang Mai Interhash
Lowlights: There was a second leg of sorts, a longish hike back to the bus in the dark.
Hash Circle: Damned good.
Visiting Hashers: Blitzkrieg (Bonny H3, Nigeria), McCavity and Bodsa (Half Mind H3, NY)
Quote of the Week: Bodsa, who was overheard saying on the Hash bus, "There's no armrest, I'm going to go down."
Awards: Black Hareshirt to Bush Wallaby (10 Haresets!) , 50 Run shirts to Woofter and Pussy Problem
On-on: Barbecue at the run site (courtesy of Peckerhead). Most of the pack retired to the No. 5 Bar for a few (actually, more than a few) convivial ales on our return to town.
